Comrades s Zapatista
We have known these days for the brutal repression unleashed by the Mexican authorities against the people of San Salvador Atenco. Thanks to alternative media and a few newspapers, yet faithful to the ethical principle that requires the journalist to tell the truth, we have come tales of terror staged there.

Resort to force to subdue those who resist with weapons of dignity, is an additional resource of tyranny, whether disguised under the garb of democracy.
condemn the assault on the town of San Salvador Atenco by federal police on 4 May and demand the immediate and unconditional release of @ s tod @ sl @ s pres @ s. polític
Count, s comrades, with all the solidarity of l @ s that this island also believe in the revolutionary ideals of the Zapatistas.
