2.SINOPSIS
Captain Nathan Algren (Tom Cruise) is a man adrift. The battles fought at one time now seem distant and futile. Once he risked his life for honor and country, but in the years since the American Civil War, the world has changed. Pragmatism has replaced courage, self-interest has taken the place of sacrifice and honor is not in any par-te, especially in the West, where his role in the campaigns against the Indians ended in disappointment and sadness. 3. WHY " The Last Samurai" IS A FILM CAREER? NOTES FOR THE ENTERTAINER.
