3. WHY "Love Actually "IS A FILM CAREER? NOTES FOR THE ENTERTAINER
We are in a movie that was well received by the public and was not only appreciated by the critics. Some have labeled the "salad of topics about love" or "commercial and manufactured." We must recognize that at times is uneven and we have to give some concessions as discussed below. But the offer vocational material to work with young people since we found some exploitable aspects.
The director and screenwriter Love Actually (Love Actually in Latin America) is Richard Curtis, that was released with comedy sketches as popular as Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994), Notting Hill (1998) or The Diary of Bridget Jones (2001). Curtis used here completely dominating elements to create a romantic comedy involving coral consolidated players around the eternal theme of love with Christmas background context. We found love in its various forms and manners. We can say that "love" makes the subject and the various characters you are putting different adjectives that will personalize their own experience and experience of love.
As said Oscar Aleman, Love Actually " us love in many of their different ways. Frustrated love, which leaves us, the expectation, the furtive, the friends, the brothers, the children, the impossible, the sinful, etc etc. Surely in any of them I see reflected .... ".
Love is without doubt a fundamental vocational aspect. The experience of human love born of the love God has for us and is somewhat reflected. It should be remembered that we talked about everything from love and not infatuation (which is probably what dominates the movie.) Moreover, the experience of feeling called by God is based on the experience of feeling wanted and loved by it without deserving it. God loves me and so I called. How my love for him? How do you reciprocate? How is my love for our brothers and sisters that God has given me and I send? Maybe this play will help us know a little better.
submit a succinct and very personal top ten stories of love:
* The Billy (Bill Nighy), the old rocker is back, and his manager, is the story of a love of gratitude that was never expressed as being too cold or being a slave to paper you have to do.
* The story of James (Colin Firth), the writer betrayed by his wife, Aurelia (Lucia Moniz), the Portuguese maid, is a love that goes beyond words and to be discovered little by little just by their presence.
* The child's distraught and in love with the best girl in the school, Platonic love is almost impossible that needs to mature. Next to it will develop a true love with her stepfather (Liam Neeson) through its unwavering support and complicity. * The
of Karen (Emma Thompson) and her husband Harry (Alan Rickman) is the story of a love matured over the years, the stability and the children, but also has its routines and scratches, which become a loophole through which love enters tempting seductive secretary. The love of a mother who forgets herself and her feelings for the good of the family, appears brilliantly reflected.
* The story of Colin, "sex god", which seeks more than that, sex is a "Love" (can it be called love?) Totally disoriented and confused.
* The double of porn actors, is a love that arises in the most unlikely situation thus being complementary to the previous story, hesitate to confess their growing mutual attraction despite working in a state of complete nudity.
* The story of Mark (Andrew Lincoln) in love with Juliet (Keira Knightley), the wife of his best friend, love is the responsible one who knows "survive" and situated to avoid damage to the friend.
* The President of England (Hugh Grant) and her servant, is the story of Cinderella and the impossible. All feel the love no matter what one's place in this world.
* The Sarah (Laura Linney) and Karl (Rodrigo Santoro) is the idealized love that can not come to fruition because it is tied to his mentally handicapped brother. It is the love she feels for this which prevents the "love of his life" may materialize.
What some do not like is the idea of \u200b\u200bshowing the life of pink, with declarations of love in public, even at the last minute after escaping the whole airport security without a "no " for an answer ... In short, the notion that love it all. And with the rush imposed by the date of Christmas as if one were to fall in love before Christmas Eve. But if we allow these concessions and crush the idea of \u200b\u200btrue love we can get much play.
For example the song "Love is all around " (love is everywhere) that accompanies the film we can work from a Christian perspective: that love is everywhere is the same as saying that God is everywhere (positive and optimistic about life and the world).
" When one sees such films, asks after day because it turned euphoric after his vision. There are good performances but not to go to our cinematic memory, there is a good script, yet we do not remember any particular paragraph, there is a correct direction but equal to that of other managers in hundreds of films. However, what distinguishes it from many others is the message of optimism and "good vibes", neither character is hateful (including children) which transmits and makes you raise the adrenaline and the desire to leave the room to eat the world. That is the real charm of "Love Actually" your message " (Oscar Aleman: http://www.actualcine.com/weboscar/dvd/loveactually/loveactually1.html )
"Despite the saturation of plots, Richard Curtis and dosing switch knows well the stories, though of course not all have the same interest, of course none were made repellent to the public. Everyone can identify with some and here is probably one of the strengths of the film. So the obvious humor and the euphoric atmosphere in the possibilities of love that you breathe during the whole film. The good thing about these films is to make you feel good for at least two hours, but never again think of them " (Laoffdelacritica: http://www.laoffoffcritica.com/criticas/cr20031122_1.html )
vocational topics can try: love (loving and being loved), the decision to embark on something, the expression of feelings, to value others as a gift ...

- What do you kind of love is reflected in each of the relationships?
-Of all these, what is the most successful story? Why?
